Our handmade Gold Shimmer watercolour paint is designed to add a subtle yet distinctive metallic glow to artwork. Used in a diluted wash, it introduces a gentle sparkle; applied with minimal dilution, it delivers a rich, opaque metallic finish.
Made from mica laminated with titanium dioxide and iron oxide, Gold Shimmer has excellent opacity and gloss across a range of dilutions. It mixes easily with other colours, allowing artists to extend shimmer into existing palettes with control and restraint.
