Further Information
The Earth Collection is inspired by the quiet strength and muted beauty of the natural world that surrounds our studio here in Devon.
Think ploughed fields of red soil, golden grasses across the moor, ancient oak forests of deep, earthy green, rivers of dark umber, and skies heavy with stormy blue. This palette brings together colours that feel rooted, balanced and enduring with pigments that sit comfortably beside one another and respond beautifully to restraint.
Each colour has been selected for its natural harmony and mixing potential, allowing the artist to build subtle landscapes, tonal studies and atmospheric work without noise or excess. These are colours that reward patience and observation.
The Earth Collection features six half pans of our highly pigmented, handmade watercolours, presented in a pocket-sized tin. The pans are secured with magnets, allowing you to rearrange or replace colours as your practice evolves. A hand-painted colour insert illustrates the character of each pigment.
