Our handmade Cobalt Turquoise watercolour paint is a clear, bright, and highly versatile blue with a distinctive sense of space and clarity. Used in a diluted wash, it creates clean sky blues; applied with greater concentration, it becomes vivid and lively straight from the pan.

Opaque with natural granulation, Cobalt Turquoise adds texture and visual interest to passages of colour. It works particularly well when paired with browns and pinks, creating crisp contrasts, and when mixed with greens it produces brighter, more animated tones. Mixed with Violet Mid Shade, it yields cooler purples well suited to shadow work.
