This approachable and welcoming workshop is designed for all levels, whether you’re a practising artist or simply curious to try something new. Guided demonstrations will introduce you to time-honoured techniques and traditional tools before you settle into a relaxed, collaborative studio environment to create your own watercolour paint from raw pigment.

You’ll explore the unique qualities of different pigments, discover how they behave on paper, and gain a practical understanding of colour mixing theory through simple, engaging exercises with the paint you’ve made.
